Session I:  Work Measurement & Methods Improvements: Fundamentals

A three-day workshop covering: the theory, concepts, and practice of the basics in work methods improvement, time study, and work sampling. Specific topics: motion economy, ergonomics, work simplification, work elements, process mapping, flow concepts, performance rating, how to conduct a time study, and how to conduct a work sampling study Twenty-four (24) hours of practical, concentrated instruction with hands-on practice exercises.
 
Cost per participant - $795 (includes a set of outstanding reference materials and lunches for each participant)

 

Session II:  Work Measurement & Methods Improvements: Advanced Topics

A two-day workshop designed to enhance the participant’s understanding of: computerized work measurement (direct time study and work sampling), efficient and cost effective work standards audits, designing a work sampling study to maximize the informational value of results, developing algebraic time formulas for group technology-based families of work using statistical multiple linear regression, and using predetermined time systems (MTM™ and MOST™). Eighteen (18) hours of practical, concentrated instruction with hands-on practice exercises.
 
Cost per participant - $530 (or $265 for participants taking both Sessions I & II) - (includes a set of outstanding reference materials and lunches for each participant).
