We are offering, upon demand(6 or more students), a very special educational opportunity.  We will be offering "Advanced & Computer Work Measurement," a 3-day seminar/workshop covering important topics including (but not limited to):
  • Computerized work measurement (direct time study and work sampling),
  • How to conduct an efficient and cost effective work standards audit,
  • How to design a work sampling study to maximize the informational value of results, and
  • How to develop algebraic time formulas for group technology-based families of work using statistical multiple linear regression

Now don’t let this scare you! We will briefly cover the basics so those of you without strong knowledge in fundamental work measurement will still be able to learn a whole lot. We plan to have at least two - perhaps as many as three - instructors and we will leave no one behind if you need some additional help in the basics! The course cost is very affordable ($995) and lodging costs in Clemson are lower than the norm. If we have more than 12 people enroll we will have the conference at the Madren Center on the campus of Clemson University. This facility is located next to the Clemson University golf course -- and if a number of golfers sign-up we will make special course timing accommodations for those people (i.e., start class a little earlier).

Cost includes some really great resource and reference materials, all breaks and lunches, and, most importantly, some top-notch instruction. This course was built on over 40 years experience as a teacher, researcher, consultant, inventor, and practitioner in work measurement. The cost also includes strong follow-up advice after the course for one full year by a master teacher. If you can come, you will be a "happy camper!" You will also receive free software and discounts worth more than double the cost of tuition. Certificates will be awarded. A total of 20 hours of instruction (2 CEUs) will be delivered. Should your professional society or any of the certifications you have require training hours -- these hours may count toward these requirements. Let us know in advance if you have CEU needs. We have a cooperative relationship with Tri-County Technical College and as such CEUs may be awarded through them.

The course can be held on a Thursday through Saturday. This would allow you to offer your manager the fact you will be contributing some of your free time and your company will be able to save some airfare costs due to the Saturday night layover. If you don’t mind giving up one of your Saturdays this is a really good deal for your company – and of course, you too!

This promises to be one of the best seminars you have ever attended. Please contact us for more details on this and other training classes.
