| This screen illustrates the Final Analysis report. It summarizes the number of observations made for each element in the cycle, the total sum of all elemental times, and the selected time (mean or median). It further lists the average performance rating, the frequency of the element per cycle, the normal elemental time, the allowance and the base of the PFD allowance percentage, and the standard elemental time. Further, the report shows the final standard in the time units chosen by the analyst for the study, the time in minutes or hours, and the production rate in production units per hour. Finally the report shows the Standard Hours per 1000 production units (SH/M) and the Standard Hours per 100 production units (SH/C). The analyst has the choice of using either the average (mean) or the median in determining the selected elemental time. The entire study may be saved for future recall and additional data management. Any portion of the study can be printed out. There are five printed report components: Study Information, Data Collection, Managed Data, Final Analysis, and Event History Report. The latter report lists every event in the time study, its start and stop times, elapsed time in seconds, elapsed time in time units selected by the analyst, and performance rating for that event. By selecting "File" and "Export to Excel" any or all reports can be copied/sent to an Excel file for further analysis. This feature permits merging of time studies, standard data development, and by using Excel's multiple regression features, establishing algebraic time formulas for group technology-based families of work. The usefulness of "Export to Excel" will only be limited by the creativity of the analyst. |
