The data collection screen is shown above. Typically, these time data along with abbreviated study information and cycle or elemental performance ratings are recorded on the Handheld PC (H/PC). However, the entire study can be conducted on the analyst's notebook/laptop PC, or desktop PC (if the study is videotaped).

Note that the new CITS feature, "Active Element Performance Rating" is illustrated on this screen. The performance rating grid (from 60% to 165%) is used (the appropriate cell touched) to capture the operator's performance (pace) rating at the beginning as well as during the study. The most recent performance rating is attached to each element's time and remains fixed at that value until it is changed. This "on the fly" rating feature permits the reflection of the operator's changes in performance over the spell of the study.
