This is the initial screen on the desktop PC CITS program modules. This screen is used by the analyst to enter relevant operation information about the work being time studied. The analyst can load a previous study or load a template previously designed on the desktop PC. The primary use of this screen is to load a study done on the Handheld PC (H/PC) and add study information to that already collected on the H/PC (see top third of image 6). A new feature allows the analyst to change the units of production to whatever is relevant for the work being performed ("Tons" shown as example here). The unit of production defaults to "cycles." The customer name and the CITS license number are shown in the center of this screen. The Microsoft ActiveSync software is used to permit transfer of the time study data file from the H/PC to the desktop PC.
